After Adam takes her home one night he has no intentions of staying away, but Riley has different plans and he is not about to let her go.
Kaylee’s life is once again turned upside down and this time it’s more than just her that she has to worry about.
Can Adam help Kaylee wash away the guilt she carries around and get her to see that she can trust him? Can he make her see that she is not alone?
As more secrets are revealed will she finally let Adam in so he can protect her?

Wendy's Thoughts
This is an ongoing story that continues in the next book. I could empathise with Kaylee, her grief over losing her dad hit close to home for me. Her boyfriend is an assh... ,he certainly doesn't deserve someone like her. He made me angry, thinking she would just take and put up with anything he did to her. Adam on the other hand well he is a special kind of guy, he worships her nothing is to much trouble. The violence, abuse, rape and mental cruelty are at times hard to read. It breaks your heart, especially when you know Kaylee is already struggling blaming herself. This is a very powerful story covering some extremely intense issues, things that nobody should ever have to deal with. I don't want to go into to much depth or give away the story, you should read it for yourself and learn all the secrets and lies. It isn't what you think of as a romantic story, its to gritty for that and there is so much else going on. That's not to say there isn't any romance in the book, there is but it is mixed up with everything else. Kaylee's friendship with Alexis is strong and loving, there's understanding and support that means everything to them both. My overview is that this is a very powerful, deep and sometimes disturbing read but it is one that is well worth it. I look forward to continuing with the next part.
